Art classes at Flying Fox Studios are run on an opt-in basis for each new term (bookings don't automatically carry over from one term to the next). All places are offered for each new term on a first come, first served basis. As a minimum, beginning oil painting students may spend about $30 for a canvas board (depending on the size of the canvas board for their project). Painting students can store their painting materials with the Perth Art Group. Students who already have paints and materials, or who purchase painting materials during the course, are expected to bring them, and use them within the class. This applies to beginners, as well as to returning (re-enrolling) students. Class fees will be refunded if there is a cancellation made by the student before the normal starting day of the course for which the student has enrolled.

Scratch Advanced coding course consists of four levels (10 lessons per level) and 28 exciting projects. Students design sophisticated applications like Baby Yoda Trainers, 3D Printer Simulators, and Binary Calculators. ART4KIDS was started by Primary School Teacher Julie Phillips. Julie saw the need for after school art classes in South Perth that caters for children who already enjoy art and craft well as those wanting to learn.
The first class may be filled with nerves and not knowing anyone or the teacher, so best to give it two classes so you can settle into the space, meet the people and get a better feeling for our class structure. The basic course at The Pottery Shed for beginners is comprised of three 2-hour classes covering throwing, trimming and glazing. Students are then encouraged to develop their skills through returning sessions until they understand the process. They can also add advanced skills during weekly Master Classes in large vessel throwing, hand-building, pottery decorations and mould-making with slip-casting. My son's experience with the Academy programs has been truly remarkable. After each class he would come home so inspired and excited to tell me all about the artist he learned about.
