Child Care & Early Learning Centre Reviews Narre Warren

The amount you pay depends on your family\'s CCS entitlement and your centre\'s daily fees. The CCS hourly rate cap is the maximum hourly fee the Australian Government uses when calculating your Child Care Subsidy. For the 2025–26 financial year, the hourly rate cap for Centre Based Day Care is $14.63 per hour for children below school age.
Choosing a childcare centre involves more than just finding a convenient location; it’s about finding a community that supports your child’s growth. At Apple Blossoms, we provide a holistic approach to early education across our centres in Narre port melbourne kindergarten Warren, Shepparton, South Melbourne, and Mooroopna. Our curriculum is designed to spark curiosity and foster a lifelong love of learning, ensuring that every child in our care feels safe, respected, and inspired. Our Government-approved kindergarten program helps children build literacy, numeracy, independence, resilience and social skills before school.

We're ready to welcome your family and provide exceptional early learning experiences from day one. A safe, nurturing early learning centre where children grow, explore and build confidence every day. The government Child Care Subsidy (CCS) aims to make early learning more affordable for eligible families. How much subsidy your family is entitled to will depend on how much ‘work related’ activity you and your partner undertake each fortnight. Our staff engage children by using play-based learning that encourages the development of outcomes within the Early Years Learning Framework.

As your child prepares to head home, this is your opportunity to speak with our friendly educators about your child’s day and everything they learnt. We encourage your child to ask questions, experiment, and problem-solve, all while engaging their natural curiosity. By fostering this inquisitive mindset, we help them develop critical thinking skills and a deeper understanding of the world around them. Exploring different cultures and cuisines has broadened my perspective and inspired me to embed cultural diversity and global awareness into my teaching practice.
Individual Learning Plans are developed in partnership with families and reflect each child’s strengths, interests and goals. Educators use these plans to guide learning experiences and share regular updates with families. Calculations herein are based on the assumption all eligibility criteria is met. Our centre chefs prepare a nutritious menu for your child to sit down and eat. Educators model healthy eating practices, social behaviours and support children’s growing independence with mealtime routines. Our most important values are that the children feel safe, secure and happy  and have the freedom to learn, in a natural and harmonious environment.

I believe in providing a warm, welcoming and secure environment for children to learn and develop as well as providing a comfortable and relaxed environment for families to feel welcome. This ensures both families and children have a sense of belonging and provide input into the Centre and Program. I believe in working alongside families, community and  other sectors to ensure the best outcome for all children.

We believe that if children can anticipate the next part of their day, they can participate at their best. At Astra Early Learning, we understand the benefits of connecting with nature and how this will support children’s learning. Children will  have the opportunity to explore, connect and learn with nature every week.
A smaller setting can make it easier for an educator to become familiar with each child’s usual routines and emerging interests. One child may spend time repeatedly building and rebuilding structures, another may be interested in books and conversation, while another may prefer movement, sensory exploration or imaginative play. One of the defining characteristics of family day care is its smaller group structure. Movement and physical play provide opportunities to practise coordination and body awareness, while shared activities encourage children to interact, negotiate, participate and become increasingly comfortable within a group. Stories and books can introduce new language and encourage children to listen, respond and express ideas.  Drawing, painting, music and imaginative play provide opportunities for creativity and self-expression.
