My son Remi goes to Play and the team are so kind and attentive. As a first time mum it can be quite daunting, but the staff are so helpful and nothing is ever a hassle. The daily updates are so in depth and the food selections are amazing! We know that ensuring your child eats all their vegetables at dinner time is not always easy after a busy day. That’s why our onsite cook prepares healthy, nutritious lunches and morning and afternoon teas. Substitutes such as Olivani, coconut oil, olive oil, fresh fruit & honey are used instead.
I feel incredibly lucky to be leading such a dedicated and experienced team here at Community Kids Bayswater. Many of our educators have been with the centre for several years and bring a wealth of knowledge about the children, families, kindergartens bayswater and local community. What stands out most is their genuine passion for what they do.

Early learning centres offer children something unique that complements home life. Here, they can build friendships, practise routines and learn through play in a social, structured and supportive environment – skills that help lay a strong foundation for school and beyond. Over the years, I’ve learnt that no two children are the same.

As your child prepares to head home, this is your opportunity to speak with our friendly educators about your child’s day and everything they learnt. We create a sense of belonging for your child to ensure they feel heard and empowered to make choices, fostering their independence. We celebrate each child’s unique strengths, helping them to thrive in a supportive and inclusive environment. I love that we seek to make quality early education available to everyone, regardless of their economic position. That we focus more on suburban children and advocate for their rights, Nido is truly a movement and not one to join without knowing you will need to put your heart on the line every single day.

Arrabri Kindergarten Inc provides centre-based care for up to 28 approved spaces. Both of our children are thriving at Nido Bayswater and we are so happy with the centre overall. Lovely, caring, professional staff and the rooms and outdoor spaces are very clean. The children start to develop their sense of identity and understand that they are part of a broader community. They start to explore their feelings and emotions and also try new things. Developing early communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal is also a big focus for the children in this age group.
We warmly support our families with advice, encouragement and resources if required. Our Educators provide children with opportunities to challenge their learning at an individual and group level. Our outdoor playground boasts a natural like environment where children can explore their surroundings in a safe area.
This is a team that shows up every day with care, professionalism, and a commitment to quality early education. Indoors, children discover places for creativity, imaginative storytelling and quiet corners. Each environment is thoughtfully designed to spark curiosity, nurture imagination and build a connection to nature, helping children develop new skills and healthy habits for life. We follow national child-safe standards with strong leadership, rigorous recruitment, and ongoing training for everyone in our early schools.
Our centre chef prepares and cooks nutritious meals daily, catering to the unique dietary requirements of every child. Before Charlotte sits down for lunch with her friends and educators, Charlotte takes part in the centre’s sports program. Sports helps Charlotte improve her flexibility and strength (perfect for growing bodies!). Sports also allows her to practice different skills in a fun and engaging way. On the day of the tour, you can observe practices and interactions within the centre environment. You’ll be able to see all the rooms and playgrounds, ask the team members any questions you have in mind, and get all the information you need to make the best decision for your child.
When you’re getting ready to start child care, you can help your child overcome anxieties by visiting the child care service together for a Stay and Play session, and easing into new routines at home. We cater to all allergies, as well as cultural and dietary preferences and all our Early Schools are nut aware. Every day, our curriculum and quality resources turn experiences into lasting learning – from cooking and gardening to science and well-being, every day brings something new. We foster a learning environment that celebrates diversity, embraces differences, and builds a culture of kindness, empathy, and inclusion. From day one, each child is supported by a Key Educator, helping them develop a secure and trusting relationship, which supports their sense of belonging and emotional well-being.
We are proud of our bush kinder program, which introduces young learners to natural environments and resources. This includes visits to Chesterfield farms, growing our own vegetables and using them in meals, and participating in council incentives such as planting trees. At Goodstart Croydon South, we pride ourselves on creating a safe, supportive environment where children thrive.
