I am passionate about creating a safe and educating space for children and watching them grow each day. At Pakenham Springs Children’s Centre, we foster a love of learning through play-based experiences that encourage children to discover, create, improvise, and imagine. Our environment is safe, stimulating, and designed to promote creativity and curiosity. The daycare has been amazing, it is a safe and welcome environment for my two kids and site staff are really supportive to meet  the children needs. The kids are grown with confidence and feels like home, the staff are very friendly.
As the children move through the different rooms in the centre, the curriculum evolves with them. The educators set goals for the children and celebrate as they reach their milestones. As a proud mum of six and “Nanny” to ten grandchildren, I understand the trust families place in us and the importance of positive early learning experiences. Educators draw on children's strengths, developmental needs, and interests as guiding factors when planning learning activities. The Early Years Learning Framework serves as the cornerstone of our curriculum design, with the National Quality Standards (NQS) also informing development of our service's policies, practices and curriculum. We drive past many centres to get to this one however I would never change. As a full time working mother it’s hard to put your children in care full time however I never feel uneasy taking them to PICO. An example of how homely this centre is, my son refers to a staff member as “Nanny Annie”.Couldn’t recommend PICO enough. Kindergarten children can also take part in our library borrowing program, which encourages a love of reading to extend into their homes and their families. Our four-year-old children can even learn Spanish through Early Learning Languages Australia.
We encourage families to play an active role in centre life, from sharing traditions and ideas to celebrating milestones together. Morning and afternoon family groupings also give siblings the chance to spend quality time together, helping strengthen family bonds within the centre. A place where children feel at home, families are valued partners, and learning happens through curiosity, play, and connection. We at My Stars Childcare apply hands-on learning strategies, ensuring that children are actively engaging and exploring rather than passive instruction. This fosters an love of learning that we believe will serve them well as they grow.

We have always been deeply passionate about childcare and teaching. We knew this place would give us the opportunity to practise what we do best – care, patience, and compassion – and that is how Twinklekids Early Learning Centre came to life. I am proud to lead a nationally award-winning service (Goodstart Sustainability Award National Winner 2014). I have worked in the early learning sector for 23 years, the past 3 of which have been with Goodstart.
From creativity to critical thinking, our programs encourage children to explore, imagine, and grow confidently. My daughter is always enjoying her days with different kinds of fun activities at Aspire Huntly Village. Great environment and all the staff are very nice, friendly, and you always feel welcome.
