Guidance is being developed for a pupil-centred approach, with best practices showcased through digital storytelling. A podcast series and an animated video provide practical strategies for educators and parents. The project is making a lasting impact by equipping schools with tools for an inclusive, strengths-based approach.
This seminar will explore the transformative impact of tailored training programmes designed to meet the unique needs of each user. Join us for a seminar designed to show you that an ADHD brain is far from broken. We'll discuss how neurotypical thinking often doesn't suit our minds and explore how it feels to experience controlled ADHD. We'll discuss strategies to leverage the unique strengths of ADHD, minimising overwhelm and frustrations. This session offers valuable insights for embracing and optimising your ADHD brain. However withlove, understanding and the support of people around him the family have used theirexperiences to shine a light on how positivity and empathy can lead to incredible outcomes.



A series of resources have been developed aimed at employers to gain greater skills, knowledge and understanding of neurodivergence and how to support neurotypical employees more effectively. These materials aim to provide neurodivergent students with information, tools, and strategies to navigate their educational journey confidently and successfully. We understand that your journey through university may have unique challenges, and we are here to provide the support and resources you need to thrive. We provide opportunities, in-person and virtual, that are designed to help you cope with the stresses, barriers, and challenges that society presents as we raise our neurodivergent children. Children and young people with special educational needs or disabilities can receive additional support for their education, health, and social needs until the age of 25. Special Educational Needs (SEN) support can be provided by school or college, however, an Educational Health & Care (EHC) plan can be put in place for more complex needs.
With our team of human assessors, assistive technology trainers, learning and wellbeing mentors, we make this support easy to access so that more people understand and benefit from their built-in superpower of neurological differences. The resources are aimed at increasing the knowledge, skills, and understanding of neurodivergence for those working in the emergency services. Carter Brown works in partnership with local authorities, solicitors, and criminal justice services nationwide to deliver high-quality neurodevelopmental assessments.

We also work with individuals who identify with gifted or twice exceptional profiles, and we offer giftedness profiling as part of our work. It is important that we recognise and celebrate neurodivergent people in Wales and work together to make the whole country neurodivergent-friendly. We are hopeful that Cardiff is just the start of this journey, and that it will extend to all regions in Wales – allowing  Wales as a country to grow and become more neuro-inclusive. In September of last year, two Cardiff Labour Councillors – Jamie Green and Sara Robinson Occupational Health Advisor –had the idea for Cardiff to become a neurodivergent-friendly city.

We are an independent, person-centred, and clinician led practice, providing high-quality and face-to-face neurodevelopmental (autism and ADHD) and cognitive assessments to privately funding children and adults. The resources within this section were developed for school governors and other staff members. These resources are intended to increase awareness and understanding of neurodivergence, equipping all school staff with the tools needed to support neurodivergent students effectively. There are also a wide range of free downloadable resources that have been developed with neurodivergent people, parents/carers and professionals from across Wales.
While these tests don’t provide a diagnosis, they offer a quick and simple way to better understand your experiences and whether it might be helpful to seek a professional assessment. Neurodiversity refers to the natural differences in how people think, process information, learn and interact with the world. Conditions such as autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dyslexia, dyspraxia, and others all fall under the neurodivergent umbrella – and it's estimated that around 1 in 7 people in the UK are neurodivergent (source). Together we can help improve the knowledge, awareness and understanding of neurodivergence to make positive and lasting changes to people’s lives. The DSA provides funding for equipment, software, and personal support workers, if appropriate, to help you overcome any specific challenges related to your autism.
